Who are we hiring?
The Videographer/Editor will be responsible for creating video content that supports the New York Knicks. This position specializes in wearing multiple hats in both pre-production, production, and the post-production process including building storyboards, creating shot lists, location scouting, content capture, media management, story editing, selecting stock footage, building motion graphics & text animations, editing and mastering audio, exporting multiple formats for social, compressing and resizing files, and captioning.
What will you do?
Shoot and edit primarily game and team practice content, handle basic lighting for mid to large size video productions such as Partner content, smaller story telling series, and event capture with some latitude for judgement/decisionsResponsible for assembling long and short form content to support needs for multiple departments under tight timelines and at times independentlyCollaborate with other Videographer/Editors and Editor(s) for content creationSupport other colleagues on pre-production and shoot productionParticipate in larger shoots as additional camera or Assistant Camera (AC)Ingest/Organize/log/clean-up footage from shoots to prepare for editCollaborate with Producers, Project Manager, PR, Marketing, Social to understand the intended messaging of the contentMake suggestions/audition music, graphics and effects within the editExport, re-format and quality check to assure all deliveries are to the correct specsWhat do you need to succeed?
3-5 years' experience working as a Videographer and Editor for a sports teamStrong experience with editing, postproduction and graphics software, including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere & After EffectMotion Graphics capabilities a plusStrong knowledge about various cameras, equipment, shooting and editing styles and techniquesProven track record of being capable of delivering high quality content regardless of the shoot and other conditionsOrganization, attention to detail, clear communication and collaboration is critical for successNeed to embrace the challenge of aggressive deadlines and turnaround while keeping your creativity flowingProven experience working and communicating with talent and professional athletes.Special Requirements
Some non-traditional working hours may be needed based on business need and deadlinesTravel as required for shoots and other business needsAble to lift up to

Pay Range
$75,000-$115,000 USD
