Overview:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for completing the design efficiently using the industry and organizational standards. Electrical Engineers work with project leaders to implement conceptual designs, detailed designs, and associated documentation. This role is able to complete simple design concepts independently and completes site visits with others. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.Application End Date: October 31, 2024Responsibilities:Design Automation Control Panels including PLC, and Remote I/O Panels and Low Voltage (480VAC) Motor Control Panels,Understand NEC & UL508A standards and how they affect electrical design.Perform project information gathering and sharing via P&ID takeoff, job site visits, RFIs or customer interactions.Support Automation Delivery with panel build and construction support including onsite visits.Coordinate network design and configuration including Ethernet, Fiber Optic and wireless networks.Continued growth through cross training, standards creation, continuous improvement and kaizen initiatives.

B.S. degree from a 4 year ABET Accredited Engineering program. Preferred 1-3 years of experience; or a combination of education and experience.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
