The Engineering Program Manager is an integral part of the Self-Driving and Electronic Systems Engineering Team and will be responsible for executing a broad range of oversight, tracking, and management goals.

Responsibilities

Lead Tesla Semi-Truck Camera and Camera Cleaning product development and be an integral part of Tesla critical innovation toward "accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy" and new controller technology architecture in Tesla Semi.Manage Semi-Truck Camera Hardware and Camera Cleaning product development programs from end-to-end for Tesla vehicles, working closely with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Electrical, Integration, Distribution, Mechanical, Thermal, Firmware, Test, Reliability, Sourcing, Supplier Industrialization, and New Product Introduction.Work collaboratively with engineering leads and managers to set goals and track deliverables.Provide clear input and plan to the project team on schedules, issues, and deliverables related to subsystem and vehicle development.Communicate Engineering requirements between Supply Chain and Purchasing to facilitate material planning.Consolidate inputs from across Tesla into executive reviews highlighting risks and opportunities.Constantly work to evolve our processes towards increasing precision and dependability, while still maintaining the agility that has gotten Tesla to where we are now.Lead your teams with strength and confidence through rapid development cycles, changing requirements, and uncertainty.Other duties as assigned.Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience and proof of exceptional abilities5+ years experience in product development, ideally with multiple delivered products in medium-to-high volume industryFamiliarity with electrical engineering, software development, and mechanical engineering processExperience in planning activities and vendor management in an engineering environmentDemonstrated ability to understand complex development projects and identify critical elementsDetail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skillsAbility to work cross functionally between engineering, production, and supply chain personnelCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$100,000 - $258,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
