The Senior Manager, Sales Training is responsible for developing and leading sales training programs within Coloplast's Interventional Urology North America (IUNA) division for Men's Health, Women's Health, Endourology and Intibia. This position will strategize, develop and lead national sales training programs and manage documentation that supports management and staff. The training programs are a critical part of the IU North America ambitious growth initiatives.

Major Areas of Accountability

Lead and develop team of sales trainers that are responsible for overall training strategy for the US & Canada field positions. This team is responsible for the creation of training content, coordination and facilitation of core curriculum to ensure all new hires and tenured employees are fully knowledgeable of the key focus areas for Coloplast.Lead the team that develops content and partners with sales leadership in managing IUNA Field Sales Trainers (FST) programs.Develop and execute the strategy, design, and facilitation of new hire training and continuing education to ensure the sales team is fully knowledgeable in the key focus areas. New hire content includes: product knowledge, customer knowledge, key clinical data, selling environment information and general market understanding.Lead and manage on-going review and improvements to training curriculum for existing sales force to improve their product knowledge, clinical acumen and competitive selling skills.Regularly partner in-house and in-field with sales representatives and sales management to deliver sales training curriculum in group and individual settings.Collaborate with sales management and global sales excellence project teams to develop and assess training curriculum, delivery approaches and overall training effectiveness across Interventional Urology.Collaborate with marketing to ensure that the training plan is aligned to the overall marketing priorities.Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop, facilitate and lead interactive, engaging learning curriculum for the sales organization QPOA and National Sales Meetings to continually improve product and clinical knowledge, selling skills, and business acumen.Continually monitor new product introductions and updates training, as appropriate, in line with the Interventional Urology business strategy.Manage training program budgets, tracking and evaluation of educational impact and measurements of learning adoption through obtaining feedback on training programs and implementing appropriate improvements.Manage and coordinate internal training logistics, including but not limited to: managing multiple stakeholders, managing master training schedule, travel and event space considerations.Conducts business to the highest ethical and professional standards; complies with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policiesOther responsibilities as assigned.Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred10+ years of successful sales and/or sales training experience in med tech industry.5+ years of management experience preferred5+ years' experience developing and implementing sales training programs and/or experience as a designated/compensated field sales trainerExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essentialExcellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency requiredWillingness and ability to travel
