33637Job Summary:The Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center (HTC) is a specialized disease management center for children and adults within the School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. It provides direct comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services to over 2000 adults and children with rare bleeding and clotting disorders throughout a multiple-state region. The Center is comprised of clinic services, pharmacy services, research laboratory services, clinical research services, professional training, patient education, and patient support programs. We are comprised of a staff of over 60 professionals.HTC Manager is a senior leader responsible for overseeing the operations of the entire Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center Program. To do this they must manage the strategic planning efforts and implement tactical plans to advance the clinical, research, public health, educational, financial, pharmacy, advocacy, service, and quality objectives for the Hemophilia program. They create and manage policies, procedures, and programs valued within the organization. They see all aspects of HTC and take this informed view to seize opportunities and mitigate risk through strong consensus building and leadership at every level of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Manage the center's overall relationship with the CDC, MCHB, ATHN, or MSHN to maintain the center's status as a federally qualified hemophilia program and a leading national center for the care of patients with and study of bleeding and clotting disorders.Write and submit program grants to all agencies promptly including budget development and required progress reports.Manage the development, implementation, and analysis of quality improvement projects that fulfill the program grants and/or collaborative agreements and the center's mission.
