RN Care CoordinatorPosition #: 00805588 - Requisition #:34925Job Summary:The Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center (HTC) is a federally funded program that exists to identify, treat, and give access to care for persons with bleeding and clotting disorders in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. The HTC provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, education and consultative services for community physicians, and educational and other support programs for patients and their families. The work is organized into four sections: research, clinical care, advocacy and community service, and pharmacy services. This position functions within the Clinical unit of the HTC, providing clinical care for patients.Key Responsibilities:This position will make complex daily clinical decisions. This RN will use physical assessment, and laboratory assessment, determine payment sources for treatment, and make follow-up plans for patients managed by our physicians with consultation with the physician, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners.Provides research support to CRA, including blood draws, medical history, and physical exams.Full participation in and attendance at outreach clinics, educational programs, and camps that may involve out-of-town travel, overnight and weekend time.
