This specialized technical knowledge and industry experience allow us to provide a unique perspective in solving today's accounting issues.Essential Functions and Primary DutiesProfessional and Technical Abilities:Develop excellent professional oral and written communication skills in order to establish workingrelationships with client personnelExhibit a professional, business-like demeanorApply problem solving skills and deliver methodology on engagementsBuild and broaden industry knowledge to support organization and functional initiatives by takingadvantage of our training programs and participating in relevant teamsBe knowledgeable in the areas of stock-based compensation, basic revenue recognition concepts, goodwill and intangible assets, operating and finance leases and financial statement drafting, cash and investments, fixed assets, accrued expenses and prepaid expensesExercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendationsProvide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clientsDemonstrate leadership and provide guidance to other consultantsProactively manage career - set goals and career plans with Managing Directors
Senior Consultant Responsibilities include:Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnelUnderstand engagement as it relates to client's businessDemonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialtyAssume responsibility for components of engagementsContribute to engagement planning and ensuring high quality of related products/deliverables for eachengagementDeliver services that meet standards of excellenceRecognize and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to clientWriting components of various reports/deliverables related to engagements
Preferred Qualifications:BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business related field requiredUS CPA is a plusMBA/MS/MA degree is a plusCFA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP certification is a plus3+ years related experience requiredKnowledge of US GAAP is requiredKnowledge of IFRS standards is a plusPrior public accounting or consulting experience is preferredPrior industry experience is a plusTeam leadership skills/experience is a plusProficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required3 years of experience in related fieldMust be able to work in a team environmentPresentation skills mandatoryMust possess analytical skillsProficient use of applicable technologyDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externallyMust be able to travel based on client and business needs
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000- $145,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.The compensation above is not representative of an employee's total compensation.
