Pathway Health has an incredible direct hire opportunity located in Quincy, IL for a Director of Nursing (DON) position. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader that is looking to impact change and utilize their strong regulatory and leadership skills.The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Department in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
Salary:
$100K-$120K DOQBenefits:
PTO, 403b with 3% company match, health, dental, vison and employer paid life insurance.
Summary of Job Duties:Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Nursing Department. Continually evaluate and implement procedural changes to maximize efficiency and operation of the Nursing Services Department.Develop, maintain and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the function of the Nursing Department.Maintain and periodically update written job descriptions for each level of nursing personnel.Ensure that all Nursing personnel follow their respective job descriptions.Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, documentation, etc. as necessary.Serve as the facility resource person regarding current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the operation and function of the Nursing Department.Coordinate and direct the Quality Assessment & Assurance program to enhance the quality of life for the Residents in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.Assist the Admissions Coordinator in developing, implementing and periodically updating written procedures for the admission and discharge of a Resident.Manage the survey process made by authorized governmental agencies.
Job Requirements:
Current IL RN LicenseBSN or A.S. degree with relevant experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role in Long-term Care
