Summary:

We are looking for an IT Service Administrator specialized in Atlassian administration. This role manages and enhances the Atlassian tool suite, ensuring optimal performance and seamless user experiences across the organization. The position plays a key role in supporting team collaboration and streamlining project management processes.

This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Buffalo Grove, IL location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position.Responsibilities

Consult, configure, support, and enhance our Atlassian Cloud Suite of Tools including JSW, JSM, Confluence, OpsGenie, Access (Guard).Coach, collaborate, and guide cross-functional teams to gather, scope, and design requirements to fit our business needs while maintaining system standards and practices.Design and enhance system configurations; including simple/complex workflows, schemes, and native automations.Contribute to and maintain a living knowledge base for the Atlassian Suite and its environment.Collaborate in developing and enhancing system practices /standards around system security, and efficiency.Create, consult, and educate on effective reporting solutions using tools and third-party add-ons such as dashboards, filters, and Advanced Roadmap's plans.Support a range of native Atlassian Features such as Automation, Plans, App Links, Forms, etc.Research and evaluation of third-party cloud add-ons such as Rich Filters, GitHub for Jira, JQL Search Extensions and more.Guide Scrum Masters and Product Professionals through effective configuration and use of Jira's tools/features.Troubleshoot and document complex configurations in live settings.Assess, plan, and audit schemes and objects in Jira for system health and maintenance.Contribute to efficiency and cost saving efforts through product configurations and management.Qualifications3-5 years of experience as an Atlassian Administrator or similar SaaS Administration role, with hands on experience in designing, configuring and customizing through combining system standards and business needs.Proven understanding of fundamentals associated with SaaS/System engineering and Agile practices.Knowledge of IT service management concepts and standard processes.Experience working through Agile principles and methodologies.Time management skills to balance ongoing administrative tasks with project-based work.Ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision.Experience with Atlassian add-on integration and plugin development is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $99,000.00 to $110,000.00with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of proven experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
