We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns as well as managing accounting processes for our clients. Responsibilities:• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990, 1041).• Mentor and train junior staff members.• Collaborate on client engagements, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws.• Develop tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure the highest level of service.• Stay current on tax regulations and implement changes as needed.• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper tax and accounting treatments.• Supervise the preparation of digital workpapers and tax return engagements using CCH Axcess.• Ensure quality control standards and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA certification preferred.• Minimum of 4-6 years of recent experience in public accounting, specifically in tax preparation and review.• Strong experience with tax software (CCH Axcess or CCH Prosystems preferred but not required).• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments.
