Santa Fe Springs, CA . The Vice President of Supply Chain Management will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes within TwinMed. This seasoned executive will oversee strategic sourcing, planning, inventory management replenishment and item master activities to ensure the company is executing to customer and compliance requirements and creating strategic plans to achieve strong supplier relationships. He/She/They will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain processes with a focus on strategic planning and execution to optimize inventory, improve efficiency, promote innovation and reduce total cost.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.Ensure supply chain strategies, processes, and program executions are fully integrated to support internal business plans and objectives and will actively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that our knowledge, relationships, and investments are effectively and efficiently leveraged.Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptionsBuild, lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Develop, implement and lead strategic sourcing processes such as commodity management, contract management, negotiations & vendor selection, vendor relationship management including frameworks for vendor evaluation, engagement, and RFP ownership.Ensure that the demand, sourcing, procurement and inventory plans are developed and executed to uphold the overall supply chain strategy such as total cost reduction, increased service level and optimized working capital.Oversee the planning and replenishment processes, ensuring improvements in overall service level while reducing total cost.Oversee the master data and inventory management processes, ensuring the accuracy of the data and the inventory while preventing obsolescence and aging inventory.Develop and manage budgets for supply chain operations, ensuring cost control and financial efficiencyEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements related to supply chain activities.Diagnose supply chain challenges, anticipating evolving areas of growth and ensuring prompt support for necessary system, process, and technological improvementsLeverage technology and data analytics to enhance visibility and decision-making within the supply chain.Develop S&OP process with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and finance, with a final sign off focused on accuracy and punctuality to the demand signalDevelop and maintain relationships with functional heads to understand and support their needs; work with them to identify opportunities for improvement.Drive a culture of innovation and success that values diverse voices, talents, identities, backgrounds and experiences.RequirementsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; master's degree a plusIf the bachelor's degree is in unrelated field, the candidate must have one of the following:Certification in Production and Inventory Management from ASCMCertification in Supply Chain Procurement from ASCMIBF certification15+ years related experience in strategic sourcing, supply and demand planning, inventory management and master data functions10+ years managerial experience3+ years executive experienceDeep understanding of the Supply Chain function and best practicesExceptional at relationship management, networking, negotiation, and prioritization.Track record of P&L ownership and driving operational cost improvementsFamiliarity with supply chain management software and technologies, such as ERP systems and demand planning and inventory optimization toolsExperience bridging cross-regional teams, in order to ensure smooth communication and collaborationStrong understanding of healthcare supply chain, regulations and compliance requirementsContinuous learning mindset with a commitment to staying updated on industry best practices and innovations in demand planning and supply chain management.A change catalystStrong strategic thinking skills with a results-oriented mindsetHigh degree of interpersonal skills, specifically adept at succinct and professional communication and influencingHigh degree of analytical skillsStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Collaborative leadershipObjectives of the RoleIncrease overall service level to 96%Decrease alt ships by 50%Increase inventory turns to 7 rangeContract coverage of 70% of spendReduce total cost by 5%Increase master data accuracy to 98%Increase operational inventory accuracy to 98%Increase supplier on time and in full delivery to 95%
