Apartment Community Manager.
Job DescriptionThe Property Manager, or Residential Property Manager, is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of residential properties and tenant satisfaction. Their duties include scheduling routine maintenance like landscaping, mowing lawns, replacing roof tiles or changing air vents, overseeing a team of resident and maintenance staff and enforcing rental terms.
Job Duties:Collecting rent and property fees from tenants and ownersManaging property expenses, including taxes, mortgages, and maintenance costsReporting financial status, occupancy, and lease expirations to property ownersMeeting potential tenants, conducting property tours, and evaluating applicationsAdvertising vacant properties and coordinating leasing efforts as necessaryInspecting properties, arranging repairs, and managing service contractsAddressing property complaints and resolving rental violationsJob Qualifications:
Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi and/or One Site)Minimum of 2-3 years of apartment management experienceExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenCustomer service oriented with strong teamwork abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficientlyFlexible schedule, including weekends and property toursConflict resolution and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of rental contracts and anti-discrimination lawsFamiliarity with Tax Credit requirements and affordable housing regulationsAdditional Requirements:
Experience managing Flagship properties with government oversightAbility to navigate high-profile interactions with clients, ownership, and housing authoritiesConfidence in leading staff and enforcing policies and proceduresImmediate availability for workBenefits of Working With Us:
