Jacksonville, FLOverviewYou will be joining the Surveillance Calibration & Effectiveness Review (SCE) team who provide observations on the quality & effectiveness of the surveillance alert generation process and when appropriate makes alert scenario enhancement recommendations to compliance management. The SCE team conducts and documents calibration & effectiveness reviews on a periodic cycle. What You'll DoConduct calibration and effectiveness reviews of priority and assigned Trade Surveillance scenarios
Review existing processes / procedures and provide input / recommendations for enhancing processes and creating strategic solutions for calibrating & validating global surveillance alert scenarios
Support the broader surveillance team and Technology to analyze alert scenario / detection engines' ability to capture specific use cases (e.g. external regulatory filings or internal findings outside surveillance)
Review and interpret relevant industry regulations and internal Deutsche Bank's policies to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance surveillance controls
Report review findings to the surveillance management team and key stakeholders including Audit
Using systems including Nasdaq Trade Surveillance, CDSW, HUE, SharePoint, Tableau, MS-Office suite, RStudio
Skills You'll NeedPrior experience working in a compliance, surveillance or audit role
Intermediate to advanced skills in analyzing large data sets using RStudio, Python, VBA or SQL experience would be beneficial
Intermediate to advanced mathematical knowledge with understanding of and interpreting boxplot analysis, model validation and performance monitoring
Ability to document results and recommend improvements regarding compliance surveillance controls
Ability to effectively work with a variety of stakeholders from different backgrounds and across different jurisdictions
Skills That Will Help You ExcelExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
Able to self-manage multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy across multiple projects
