The Master Scheduler will build and maintain a master schedule compatible with capabilities and capacity of the facility under the direction of the Production Manager. Coordinate with procurement to develop system to anticipate incoming materials to coincide with master build schedule. Support Production Manager in scheduling planning and metrics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and communicate the master schedule and insure synergy with revenue forecastLead meetings with supervisors to ensure master schedule subassemblies are resourced properlyCreate and maintain and inventory control system for raw powder and blended powders to support the master schedule and provide minimum inventory levels to eliminate assembly gapsDevelop and maintain a system to link procurement of materials with the master scheduleProvide status of materials planning to production supervision and production managerCoordinate with procurement to accelerate critical purchase ordersAssist in developing and maintain key metrics for the manufacturing processes and disseminating to the workforce in a timely fashionOther duties as assignedQualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Related Science10 years of experience in the battery or chemical process industriesAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishExperience with M.S. Office and ability to learn legacy applicationsExcellent analytical abilities and good understanding of the various business performance indicators that must be balanced and managedUnderstanding of interrelationships among supply, demand, and inventory factorsMust be able to maintain and create complex PC spreadsheets and graphsGeneral Job Requirements
