This role involves managing a caseload of 4-6 cases with a primary focus on franchise and business litigation, including handling pre-lawsuit disputes, drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and preparing for trials. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in franchise and business law. Salary Range:
$125,000 - $145,000 / year DOE
Business Litigation Attorney Requirements:
3+ years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for experience in business litigation and franchise lawStrong experience in pleadings and depositionsCalifornia Bar admission is requiredJuris Doctor (JD) Degree from an accredited universityTrial experience is preferred, with practice in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrationExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with strong time management abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleaguesDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentA polished and professional demeanor, with a commitment to learning and growing in a new area of lawBusiness Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 4-6 litigation cases, primarily focused on franchise and business litigationHandle pre-lawsuit disputes, including client consultations, drafting demand letters, and negotiating settlementsPrepare pleadings, conduct depositions, and engage in mediation and arbitration processesParticipate in trial preparation and attend trials, with the opportunity to take on first-chair responsibilitiesInteract regularly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and offer legal guidanceCollaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and ensure client satisfactionTravel as needed for trials and arbitrations, with most travel being local or within the United StatesBenefits:
