Physician Assistants

DUTIES:
As a Physician Assistant in our Medicine Department, you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of patient care including :
Taking initial patient histories and performing physical examinations.Evaluating, diagnosing, developing, and managing treatment plansOrdering and interpreting lab testsCounseling patientsPerforming various medical procedures aConferring with attending physicians, residents, and other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required.Graduate of an accredited (Accreditation Review Committee for Physician Assistant Programs (ARC-PA) program, required.Licensed Physician Assistant by the New York State Department of Education is required.Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), is required.Current BLS and ACLS certifications, requiredMUST HAVE FLEXIBLE schedule to cover days, nights, and weekends - on a rotating basis.
