Responsibilities

Clinic position will be based in Wellsville. Training will primarily be in Rochester and Hornell.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FNP/PA to join our team, working in an interdisciplinary otolaryngology office that integrates education and clinical care. Responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating patients with a variety of acute otorhinolaryngologic problems in adult and pediatric patients. Opportunity to learn/complete many in-office procedures. This position is suited for a self-motivated FNP/PA who possesses strong organization, effective communication, and critical thinking skills. Must be a team player but must feel comfortable seeing patients independently. Will direct bill for services. Past experience in urgent care, ED, and/or ENT highly preferred. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training. Requirement: Current certification through NYS as an FNP/PA. Ability to meet productivity targets.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner

Require a Master’s degree (or pending) as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active/pending New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as an Nurse Practitioner.

Physician Assistant

Requires completion (or pending) of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active/pending New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA ( National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)

NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relations skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $47.12 - $65.97 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
