Mt Ascutney Hospital is a small rural based hospital in historic Windsor, Vermont. It has CARF accredited Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation programs.

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Program is seeking a part time occupational therapist to join our supportive team of skilled clinicians. Experienced team members are available to provide opportunities for mentorship if desired. We have a clinical ladder program recognizing expertise and providing opportunities for advancement, with associated compensation.

We have a dynamic outpatient clinic providing care to primarily orthopedic and neurologic populations.MAH utilizes advanced neurological equipment including a Vector body weight support system, the Bioness L300 and H200 systems, and the Saebo One Stim. We provide patient centered care with an interdisciplinary team with frequent communication with team members, including on site PCPs, Physiatry, Pediatrics,Neurology, Occupational, and Speech Therapies.

Occupational Therapist Job Summary:

Providing OT treatments to a primarily outpatient neurological population, based on an evaluation of their needs and status. Small community based hospital. Supportive work environment. Compensation based clinical ladder providing opportunities for advancement. Advanced neurological equipment including the Bioness H200 system and Saebo Stim. Communication frequently with interdisciplinary team members including on site PCPs, Physiatry,pediatrics,and neurology.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an approved occupational therapy assistant program. Current VT State license. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior.
