You will provide authentic support to your teammates and clients and communicate regularly with them to understand their businesses and industries.If relationships are important to you, and you identify with the People First culture at Forvis Mazars, we would like to hear from you!How you will contribute:Providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations in a variety of industriesHelping to develop, build, and manage client relationshipsAssisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staffReviewing returns prepared by tax associates and seniorsEffectively delegating responsibilities to others, monitoring efforts of engagement teamsSuccessfully researching complex tax issues, applying findings to projects, and clearly communicating those findings in writingHaving frequent contact with client personnel at top levels and being able to consistently sell additional services to themHaving a disciplined approach that is reasonably successful in attracting new clients and developing referral sourcesWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Experience managing multiple client engagementsExcellent client relationship and time management skillsAttention to detail without losing sight of the big pictureExcellent supervisory and time management skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and against client deadlinesHigh-level analytical and reasoning skillsMinimum Qualifications:9 years or more in public accounting or corporate tax departmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA licensePreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Taxation or Law degreePartnership tax experience
