SummaryThe Sr. Endpoint System Engineer will provide assistance for all software deployment activities within the IT Operations team. This individual will provide input for all projects that involve workstation imaging. The Endpoint System Engineer is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and deploy functions of desktop, laptop and mobile hardware and operating systems. The Endpoint System Engineer must be able to support and maintain systems in an enterprise environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdvanced knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systemsDesign operating system standards, images, and deployment processes across different platformsBuild and implement Modern Desktop solutionsManage assigned projects and tasks and ensure timely completionRecommend strategies, roadmaps, and standards for all platform infrastructures, ensuring security, and compliance with industry best practicesProvide support for complex issues, partnering with other internal teams or vendors when appropriateMaintain documentation of all technology processes and componentsProvide after-hours support as needed for critical systemsExpert Knowledge of PowerShell scriptingLeads projects under minimal supervisionSpeaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as, vendors, management, IT staff and other Stifel associatesMentor and support other team members within the IT organizationQualificationsDevelop solutions to problems, as well as manage multiple issues at the same timeAbility to use logic and reasoning when troubleshooting difficult issuesAbility to think outside the box; imagine innovative effective solutions and designsUnderstanding and appropriately responding to feedbackStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate solutions to complex problemsStrong time management skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with other team membersEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred; or equivalent professional experience required6+ years' experience with PC/Mac, and/or Mobile Support / maintenance experience requiredSystems and TechnologyKnowledgeable of Mac products and associated productivity applicationsPowerShell scripting experience preferredProficiency w/ MS Office Suite and other general MS software applicationsAbout StifelStifel is a more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
