in Texas City, Texas. You will be expert in the area of SAP SD/MM. As a Functional Developer & Analyst, you will utilize your extensive business process knowledge and SAP experience to provide from inception of business process analysis through development, testing and delivery of solutions to the business; ensuring the appropriate systems and business processes are developed to meet the requirements of the business.We are looking for an expert in the area of
Sales & Distribution (SD) , with a good knowledge of
Materials Management (MM)
with hands-on responsibilities for delivering system services, enhancements and projects principally in the area of Sales & Distribution, but also Materials Management. This will require proactive collaboration with other business functions and 3rd parties to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.You will:
Provide Business Analysis support to the business and deliver the appropriate development of the systems and business processes ensuring they continue to meet the requirements of the businesses.Perform Configuration of the
SAP systems
using the
SD
&
MM
modules that aligns with the proposed solutions as defined and agreed with the business during business analysis.Perform testing and the development of test scenarios including the automation of the testing thereof.Provide daily monitoring of
SD
&
MM
issues including data integrity and rectify any issues through proactive collaboration with the business' functions, 3rd parties and other IT functions, to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability.Provide expertise within their functional area on the use and appropriate development of the systems and business processes, ensuring they continue to meet the requirements of the business.More useful info:
Global role, therefore there will be an element of travel.ERP systems are a critical component to the ongoing plant reliability and commercial performance of the business.Significant changes in business requirements and business reorganisations heavily affect the number and size of projects and the ongoing stability of applications.Multi-regional teams internally and from external service providers need to be effectively coordinated to deliver service levels.Level of Education & Experience:
Business process (Sales & Distribution / Materials Management) experience in chemical industry essential.3 Successful full life-cycle implementations of SAP SD essential.Experience with ERP systems including project experience from an IT perspective and documenting process preferred.Track record in change management essential.Technical Skills:
Knowledge of relevant industry practices and processes.Knowledge of business processes.Technical configuration experience in SAP Sales & Distribution and Materials Management essential; at least 3 full project cycles and 2 years of support.Behavioural skills:
Self-motivated individual with passion for service delivery and attention to detail.Highly numerate & analytical.Strong networking and influencing skills.Fluency in written and spoken English required , Mandarin is useful, but not essential.Next Steps:
