Vay has developed an alternative approach to autonomous driving called teledriving (remote driving) - to solve transportation in metropolitan areas.Vay is the first company that has driven a car on European public roads with no one inside. Vay is the leading teledriving company setting the global standard for remotely driven vehicles. Vay aims to launch a safe, affordable, and sustainable door-to-door mobility service in the US, Germany, and beyond. This role is responsible for troubleshooting Embedded (SW and HW) components and providing System Integration support in the Las Vegas office.The responsibilities:
1st level contact for US team in regard to Embedded (SW and HW) & system integrationSupport any Vay System Release related activitiesExecuting engineering tests on US vehicle configurationTroubleshoot and delta test execution for every new vehicle bring up (especially due to differences between the vehicle DE & US)Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs or defects in the system. Collaborating with software/hardware developers to ensure timely bug fixes.The profile:
Superb debugging skills of large, complex systemsTester oriented and hands-on mindsetExperience with Embedded C/C++ and Python is desirableExcellent understanding of the CAN protocolExperienced with automotive debugging tools (like Lauterbach, Vector CANoe/CANape, XCP)Experience in analyzing vehicle electric/electronic systems (and corresponding tools like working with oscilloscope)Desirable experience:
Experience with RustExperience with CI/CD tools (namely GitHub, CircleCI)Our values:
