leads the development, implementation and maintenance of the SQF Programs, Prerequisite Programs and Food Safety and Defense Plans.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for ongoing maintenance and integrity of the Food Safety and Quality System programs (GMP, Food Safety Plans, Quality records, Approved Supplier documents, etc.)Lead preparations for internal & external auditsLead all Food Safety, Quality, & Customer auditsLead all efforts to complete corrective actions from internal and external auditsLead HACCP, Food Safety, Food Fraud and Food Defense Teams including maintaining and communicating applicable metrics during monthly team meetingsEnsure all FDA, SQF, & Missouri Health and Safety standards and regulations are being followed inside the facility with escalation of any outages to leadershipCommunicate essential information to personnel necessary for maintenance or improvement of the systemResponsible for orientation, refresher and annual training of all food grade team membersLead all Food Safety & Quality training activities for team members on new or revised procedures and formsMonitor all critical control points and preventative controls as described in the Food Safety Plan (when established)Verify accuracy of records.
