Your roleDo you have a proven track record of managing application development with hands-on Agile Software delivery experience? Do you have experience with building and supporting large digital platforms involving cloud native, vendor integrations, APIs, event-driven microservices, reporting, analytics, and ETL? Do you have an innovative mindset that can drive the management of IT platforms to the next level?
We are looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer to:
build products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back end languagesdesign and implement software solutions based on customer needs and requirementsdrive and review technical and architectural design of global solutions, enforcing architectural design guidelines and challenging the status quodesign and implement cloud-based solutions using microservices, Big Data, and elastic computing conceptsinvestigate and resolve production issues and work with global teams to help maintain a stable production environment, ensuring the code is secure, stable, and operating efficientlywork collaboratively and effectively in virtual teams across locations and organizational boundariesYour Career ComebackWe are open to applications from career returners. Your expertiseideally 8 years of experience building large-scale software applicationsexperience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs as well as event-driven microservicesexperience in developing event-driven microservices using J2EE Spring Boot and Azure cloud native services such as Azure functionsexperience with containerization with tools such as Docker and Kubernetesexperience with cloud native development using Azure native services such as functions, APIM, data grid, confluent Kafka, etc.experience with UI development using HTML5 frameworks such as React, Redux, JavaScript, CSS, etc.strong knowledge and experience working in any RDBMS database like Postgres, MySQL, and Azure SQLexcellent debugging and optimization skillsAbout usUBS is the world’s largest and only truly global wealth manager.
