This position manages multiple technologies in a team environment. Primary duties include the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of a virtual infrastructure, Windows servers, and all their roles including Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services to meet the network security and application requirements of the business. It also includes the maintenance and configuration of Azure and Microsoft 365, Exchange email, and a data backup system. Establishes and maintains technical procedures and oversees projects to ensure the datacenter server, storage, and Active Directory infrastructure, and related technologies will meet the performance, security, and business needs of MJHS and participating agencies. Collaborates with other staff and vendors on projects. May be assigned the lead on advanced projects and special assignments. May be assigned to process trouble tickets assigned to the Network and Technical Systems team. Provides backup to Network Specialist(s), Administrator(s), and Engineers when required.

High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.Minimum of five years experience in designing, installing, and supporting data networks, rack server hardware, data backups, Active Directory, and Microsoft Windows servers.Experience with VMWare and Citrix virtualization, as well as iSCSI/Fibre Channel SANs is preferred.Required to know the design and functionality of Active Directory domain controllers, AD Sites, Forest trusts, PKI, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Print and File services, DFS, WSUS, and NTFS and Share permissions.Must have knowledge and skills working with HP servers, network and Windows performance and management tools, as well familiarity with Visio, and MS Excel.Must be familiar with Azure VM’s, firewall policies, and virtual networks.Must have an understanding of IP subnetting and firewall ACL’s.Must have a minimum of one Microsoft certificate of either MCSE, MCSA, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Azure Administrator Associate.VMWare VCP certificate preferred.Valid driver's license.Ability to work independently or without direct supervision.Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects, frequently with conflicting deadlines.Strong problem solving and critical analysis skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
