System Administrator III

TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator III to join our team in Kansas City, MO supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A).Experience Required:
Seven (7) years with Master’s or 11 years with Bachelor’s degree of professional experience in systems administration to include supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers.Duties include installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.Candidate shall have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.Candidate shall be capable of training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications.Candidate shall have notable experience supervising and/or mentoring lesser experienced personnel.Plus:
Incumbent shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II or III.Required Certification:
At least one (1) of the following: CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).Skills Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems; and dependent on task, individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.Security Clearance Requirements:
