For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the Philippines.About the opportunityThe Sr. Software Developer is responsible for technical design, development and configuration of standard features and custom solutions in Salesforce.com and deployments using Copado.The role of the Sr. Software Developer / Release Engineer over Salesforce will ideally reside in Manila, Philippines. This role will report directly to the IT Manager for the Asia Pacific region working North America hours.

What you'll get to doAnalyze requirements and produce design documents that describe how new software features and/or enhancements should function.Work closely with members of various stakeholder teams to translate requirements and user needs into solutions and system designs.Understand the assigned applications supporting this business function, how they are used, and the related business processes.Application subject matter expert, oversee / perform system configuration, perform system testing, support user testing.Work collaboratively with the business.Work in a global team and collaborate with developers offshore.Work collaboratively with the IT Application Manager, IT Release Manager, IT Developers and IT Application Architect to deliver the requirements into solutions.Work on deployment and releasing code into Production.Assess risks and impacts on existing systems as new functions are added.Identify potential technical problems or design flaws so that preventive action can be taken.Support user acceptance testing processes to ensure that requirements are fully satisfied.Create and deliver application demos to various internal/external stakeholders with varying levels of product knowledge.Skills and experience we valueA Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or business.3+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com Developer.Apex coding experience and knowledge in best practices.Development experience in the Lightning framework LWC, Aura and VisualForce.Front end development experience such as developing User Interface, LWC, Aura components, Lightning Design Systems.Understanding of Sales Cloud, CPQ and Service Cloud.Experience in delivering Digital Experiences (Salesforce Communities).Experience with data loader or similar tools to make bulk data updates.Experience working with relational databases like SQL Server/Oracle.Experience in Salesforce Integrations with APIs (web services) and Tools, preferably MuleSoft.Programming experience in other languages like C#, Java or Python is nice to have.Experience using Visual Studio Code and DevOps tools.Experience with Copado (for version and release) is preferred.Must hold Salesforce Developer I certification as a minimum.Experience working in an agile development environment.What would make you really stand outHighly organized, disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile team.Excellent consulting, collaboration, and communication skills.Ability to communicate with external customers and partners to gather requirements and translate into technology solutions.Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong technical background.Knowledge of the software development lifecycles, methodologies, tools, and techniques.Experience interviewing business sponsors and other stakeholders to elicit and document scope and requirements.What’s in it for youDayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
