Our globally coordinated, locally delivered team is committed to improving the resiliency, sustainability, and safety of our communities. Our nation’s dams, levees, and water supply systems are being upgraded and rebuilt to adapt to a changing climate, provide more efficient renewable power, and meet growing water needs. HDR engineers are leading the way to solve our toughest water infrastructure problems. We are seeking professionals with interest in the following to join our growing team in Colorado: water resources engineering, geotechnical/geological engineering, structural engineering, risk-informed decision making, flood hydrology and consequences, constructability and cost estimating, project delivery support, planning, and project management.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist project engineers and senior engineers in various water resources management related projects, including dams/levees/civil works and water supply management.Field and desktop data collection.Modeling and analysis.Prepare engineering design calculations.Environmental permitting support.Technical report development.Development of visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations.Preferred QualificationsCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related field.2 years of industry experience.Strong writing and verbal communication skills.Ability to work on multiple assignments successfully.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of tasks.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.What We BelieveHDR is our company.
