ASRC Federal is seeking a
Azure Cloud Engineer
to support a State Department customer located in Arlington, Virginia.Summary : Our team provides support for a campus-wide network, on-premises servers, on-premises storage, cloud compute, and cloud storage. Our customer is in the process of migrating much of the infrastructure to the cloud with the largest utilization of Microsoft Azure. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with the technical expertise to design, build, operate, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure.Work arrangement:
3 days onsite / 2 days teleworkClearance:
Must have an active Secret clearanceResponsibilities :Design and implement secure IaaS and PaaS cloud environments for development and operations including compute, storage, and network.Operate and maintain the cloud environments balancing performance, availability, and cost.Operate primarily within Microsoft Azure environment though there may be some support of AWS resources and occasionally on-prem infrastructure.Education/Experience :Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or minimum of five additional (5) years of experience.Must have a minimum of two years professional experience in relevant field.Must have a minimum of one year experience working with Microsoft Azure.Requirements :Desired Azure Fundamentals certification or better Azure Administrator Associate.Engineering experience with cloud compute, storage, and network.Working knowledge of government cybersecurity requirements.Good communication skills to work with end-user customers and within a team.Ability to successfully complete a government issued background check.
