Our team provides support for a campus-wide network, on-premise servers, on-premise storage, cloud compute, and cloud storage. Our customer is in the process of migrating much of the infrastructure to the cloud with the largest utilization of Microsoft Azure. We are looking for a
Cloud Engineer
with the technical expertise to design, build, operate, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer will be 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH in Arlington, VA with the ability to telework two days per week.Responsibilities
Design and implement secure IaaS and PaaS cloud environments for development and operations including compute, storage, and network.Operate and maintain the cloud environments balancing performance, availability, and cost.Operate primarily within Microsoft Azure environment though there may be some support of AWS resources and occasionally on-prem infrastructure.Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or five additional (5) years of experience.Must have a minimum of two years professional experience in relevant field.Must have a minimum of one year experience working with Microsoft Azure.Engineering experience with cloud compute, storage, and network.Working knowledge of government cybersecurity requirements.Good communication skills to work with end-user customers and within a team.EEO Statement:
