Provide manufacturing with proper documentation (Activity Instructions, Product Criteria, Engineering Orders, etc.)Facilitate in-plant review of customer specifications, manufacturing documents, and blueprints.Support the requirements of the Arconic/HLC Quality Systems.Be the primary control point for manufacturing and quality system documentation.Essential Functions:
Manage daily workload within the department.Process manufacturing documentation in a timely and accurate manner, per standard processes and formats.Process customer specifications and blueprints.Coordinate the review of manufacturing documentation by Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.Maintain open lines of communication with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sales.Conduct periodic quality systems audits.Read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).Comply with all site required policies and procedures including but not limited to EHS, Quality, and Code of Conduct.Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and revise existing documents (Routers, Forms, Specs, PC’s, AI’s, etc.) to provide up-to-date, accurate work instructions to manufacturing.Maintain and route Customer & Industry Specifications, and blueprints, according to established processes.Interface with Engineering and Manufacturing, to re-route documents as needed for final approval.Maintain metrics to ensure continuous improvement.Develop Product Criteria and Temporary Instructions, as required, from engineering drafts.Establish document standardization including instruction templates and document file structure.Serve as SPA for Record Retention Process.Perform other work-related duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities:
AS9100 knowledge preferred.Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer Associate's degree or two years previous experience in a manufacturing production environment.Prefer knowledge of investment casting process flow.Howmet Aerospace Inc.
