Scrum Master
to join our team and lead the Agile transformation within our engineering/product teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, with proven experience in running effective scrums and implementing metric-driven feedback loops to enhance team productivity and product quality. This role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are focused, efficient, and valuable.Coach team members on agile principles, ensuring that scrum practices are understood and followed.Foster a collaborative and transparent environment that promotes open communication and continuous improvement.Implement Agile Practices:Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of agile processes across the team.Ensure the team is effectively using agile tools and techniques to deliver high-quality products on time.Act as a servant leader to the team, removing impediments and ensuring that the team has everything they need to succeed.Metric-Driven Feedback Loops:Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to track team performance and product quality.Use metrics to provide actionable insights and feedback to the team, helping them improve their processes and outcomes.Regularly review and adjust metrics to ensure they align with team goals and organizational objectives.Lead the team in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes that enhance productivity and quality.Encourage a culture of experimentation, where the team is empowered to test new ideas and approaches.Share best practices and lessons learned across teams to foster a culture of continuous learning.Stakeholder Communication:Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are aligned and that progress is communicated clearly.Prepare and present regular updates on sprint progress, team performance, and product quality to management and stakeholders.Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that the team is delivering value that aligns with business objectives.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferredCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment, preferably within the technology or product development sectors.Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and their application in software development.Experience in implementing and utilizing metrics to drive team improvement and product quality.Proficiency with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.Excellent leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.Why join Stronghold’s Bangalore Team?At Stronghold, you're not just another employee; you are a part of our global family.
