YesJob Description:We are seeking highly motivated engineers with a thirst for learning, in support of a state-of-the-art solution constructing a Multi-Cloud Ecosystem via a centralized Cloud Management Interface (CMI). This role will support the design, engineering, and implementation of network requirements that enable CMI functionality.Responsibilities:Administer, operate, manage, and maintain network components for on-premises and cloud-based virtualized systemsDesign, develop, implement, and maintain (LAN, WAN, Wireless) network infrastructureDetermine network bandwidth needs and recommend measures to meet those requirementsDesign, recommend, and implement new solutions to improve the resilience of network operationsConduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated networkMonitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outagesSchedule updates and upgradesCollaborate with network architects to optimize system performanceEngage in data network fault investigationsSecure network systems with policies that define and monitor accessConfigure DNS servers and appliancesDesired Skills & Experience:Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)Familiarity with networking technologies and protocols including Layer 2, Layer 3, Layer 4, and Routing ProtocolsAbility to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and Riverbed devicesExperience with managing work tasks via tools such as JIRA and ServiceNowPast experience with Cloud Service Routers (CSRv) and in migrating legacy on-premises networking infrastructures to cloud-based networks is beneficial but not required.System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGsCompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certificationGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $134,597 - $180,716.
