Your work in cyber security at GDIT will have an impact on securing our clients’ missions and ensuring we anticipate the threats of tomorrow.As a Cybersecurity Infosec Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on you joining our team as a member of the client’s Cyber Consulting Team, specializing in providing guidance and support to the client’s Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) technology program(s).HOW A CYBERSECURITY INFOSEC ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTConsult with customers/clients regarding CDS cybersecurity policies/procedures/governance, requirements, and threats/vulnerabilities.Establish/enhance relationships with the client's CDS customer base to build upon the knowledge of the team and compile a comprehensive database of customer Cross Domain Solutions.Communicate effectively with a variety of business partners and customers, demonstrating strong analytic and organization skills.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDaily support to service requests and attendance at CDS related TEMs.Lead efforts to conduct data collection for the creation/updating of the CDS inventory for the customer to meet compliance requirements.Consult with projects and system owners on technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities.Assist in the implementation of required government policies and procedures.Support the file type review process and risk assessment reporting.May serve as a team or task lead.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) and/or Degree (Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)Experience: 15+ years of related experience.Required Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience with systems engineering and architecture.Demonstrated ability to provide triage effectively and independently, and problem resolution for technical issues.Demonstrated experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance management.Excellent written and oral communication skills and a self-starter.Experience with JIRA and Confluence.Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph.Desired Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of file type risks and vulnerabilities.Experience supporting the customer’s Risk Management Framework.Knowledge of the NIST 500-53 RMF and CNSS CDS overlay.ISSM experience is a plus.Six Sigma experience is a plus.Visio experience is a plus.Location:
