BlueHalo is seeking a skilled Missile Defense System (MDS) Architecture Assessment Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting MDA Architecture Assessment efforts, particularly in the development of the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker and the provisioning of missile threat data for ongoing analysis.Key Responsibilities:Capability Gap Tracker Development:
Assist in the development and management of the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker tool by reviewing, updating, and organizing gaps and threats related to missile defense.Collaboration with MDA:
Work closely with various MDA organizations to enhance their understanding and utilization of the Capability Gap Tracker, while providing insights into missile defense system components.Data Management:
Contribute to shaping the future of missile defense through the handling and analysis of missile defense threat data to support architecture analysis activities.Data Access and Transfer:
Learn to access various MDA data sources and facilitate the transfer of data to the DoD High Performance Computing (HPC) for analysis and summarization.Surge Support:
Provide support for analysis tasks using a MATLAB-based missile defense architecture analysis tool on the DoD HPC during peak workloads.Required:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field .3+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other Department of Defense (DoD) programs/projects.Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.Self-starter with excellent collaboration and communication skills.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with MATLAB and Linux environments.Understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including requirements writing and management.Ability to handle and analyze large datasets effectively.Preferred:Familiarity with high-performance computing clusters.Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), particularly the CAMEO suite of MBSE tools.Receive tips & info on cleared job search, security clearances and career development.
