As part of our ongoing commitment to professional development, we offer co-op positions for aspiring architects looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.The Co-op Architect will work closely with project teams and senior architects to support various phases of the architectural design process. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in both design and technical aspects of architectural practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn from seasoned professionals. This role is ideal for students currently pursuing a degree in architecture and seeking real-world experience.Job Responsibilities· Conceptual Design / Schematic Design / Design Development: Assist with the development of design concepts and design documents. Contribute to design meetings with project teams.· Modeling & Documentation: Prepare architectural drawings, 3D models, and construction documents using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.· Research: Conduct research on materials, building codes, sustainability standards, and architectural trends.· Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams including civil, structural, and MEP/FP engineers, interior designers, and contractors to support project goals.· Site Visits: Participate in site visits, surveys, and meetings to observe construction progress and document existing conditions.· Presentation Support: Assist with the preparation of client presentations, renderings, and other visual materials.· Administrative Tasks: Help maintain project records, coordinate communication with consultants, and provide support to project managers as needed.Qualifications and Experience· Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture.· Proficiency in design software such as, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).· Strong graphic, design, and presentation skills.· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.· Strong verbal and written communication skills.· A commitment to learning and contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace.What We Offer· Mentorship: Work under the guidance of experienced architects and designers.· Hands-on Experience: Engage in all aspects of the architectural design process from concept to construction.· Professional Development: Attend internal training sessions, workshops, and industry events.· Collaborative Culture: Join a diverse team committed to creativity, innovation, and excellence.LocationThis position can be based in the Boston, MA or Manchester, NH locations to meet the needs of the student.
