BMC Helix ITSM Engineer

Description:Remote | Travel to Salt Lake City, UT RequiredWe have an exciting opportunity for a BMC Helix ITSM Engineer with our industry-leading client.Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen.Rate: $75 - $85 / hr. w2Clearance:Preferred: Top Secret (TS/SCI)Acceptable: SecretOpen to considering candidates with any clearance level.Location:Candidates can live anywhere in the country.Must be willing to commute or travel to Salt Lake City, UT for 1-2 weeks per month.All travel expenses will be fully paid by client.Responsibilities:Navigate Windows Server OSTroubleshoot incidents and problems with the Remedy SystemReview logs and system performance; report anomalies using the incident management processUse BMC Remedy logs and Developer Studio to troubleshoot complex workflow issuesWork with BMC to troubleshoot complex workflow issuesPerform patching and deploymentsEnsure accurate and appropriate use of the system and data via configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and report developmentSupport the implementation of system enhancements to improve system reliability and performanceFulfill standard requests such as report development, foundation data updates, and system monitoringDevelop BMC AR System and BMC ITSM using Developer StudioWork with Smart Reporting or Helix Dashboards to build reports and dashboards using data from the ITSM system and other data sourcesInstall, upgrade, and troubleshoot BMC ITSM SuiteCoordinate large complex Remedy migration, upgrade, and development projectsReview complex customer functional requirements and determine how to deploy in RemedyProduce professional-level technical documentationExperience Requirements:Experience - Required:5+ years of direct BMC Helix ITMS engineering and administration experienceExperience - Nice to Have:Redhat OS navigationBMC DWP and DWP Catalog (Linux) installation and troubleshootingBMC Remedy Single Sign On (RSSO) installation and troubleshootingHelix Dashboards installation and report creationExperience with containerized infrastructures deploying BMC softwareEducation Requirements:Required:5+ years of direct Helix ITSM experience with a BS Degree in computer science or related field -OR-8+ years of direct Helix ITSM experience without a BS Degree + a BMC Professional CertificationNice to Have:BMC Professional Certification in DWP-A, Helix CMDB, or Innovation Studio
