The Systems Analyst at Raleigh Radiology provides technical support, encompassing development, testing, integration, and implementation of applications and interfaces. The position requires the ability to perform vendor assessment, selection, project management, requirements definition, system architecture, interface development, and support.Job Description:Roles and Responsibilities

Vendor Assessment and Selection:

Conduct assessments of potential vendors, evaluating their capabilities and compatibility with Raleigh Radiology’s needs.Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to select vendors that align with the strategic goals of Raleigh Radiology.

Project Management:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, setting project milestones, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

System Architecture Support:

Maintain and support the overall system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to industry best practices.Collaborate with vendors and Technical Operation team to align system architecture with the organization's long-term IT strategy.

Interface Development:

Develop, test, and implement interfaces between various systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define interface specifications and troubleshoot integration issues.

User Training and Support:

Provide training to end-users on new systems, features, and enhancements.Act as a point of contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely and effective support.

Security and Compliance:

Collaborate with the Raleigh Radiology MSP (Logically) to implement and maintain security measures within clinical systems, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.Monitor and enforce compliance along with Raleigh Radiology Compliance Officer, with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to healthcare IT.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization of existing systems.Stay abreast of technological advancements, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency for Raleigh Radiology and radiologists.

Collaboration with IT Teams:

Work closely with vendor software developers, database administrators, MSP network engineers, and other hospital systems to ensure the successful integration of systems.Foster a collaborative and cooperative environment to promote effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Emergency Response and Disaster Recovery:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of downtime response and disaster recovery plans related to critical IT systems.Participate in planned downtimes and real-time response efforts to ensure business continuity in the event of a system outage or disaster.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Implement and use vendor provided monitoring tools to assess system performance and identify potential issues proactively.Generate and analyze performance reports, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Excellent familiarity and competency with HL7 interfaces, DICOM, basic networking, storage concepts, IT security, system administration, diagnostic displays, and workstation administration.Exposure to applications such as Mach 7 VNA, Intelerad Clario Worklist, Intelepacs, Fujifilm EIS, Hologic, Powerscribe 360 VR, 3D imaging applications, Nuance Powershare, and Interfaceware is a plus.Intelerad Clario and Intelepacs implementation and support experience highly preferred.Experience in supporting imaging-related applications.Familiarity with third-party Radiology Information Systems (RIS) is desired.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Clinical experience and certification in a related allied health field, such as ARRT, OR imaging vendor experience is a plus.Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).Professional Experience Requirements

If a Bachelor's degree: Four (2) years of experience with IT systems and/or related operational experience.If an Associate's degree: Six (4) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience.If a High School diploma or GED: Ten (6) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience.Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Excellent analytical and communication skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Highly responsive to internal customers.
