Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Duties and responsibilities include:Identifying and implementing configuration management processes, review and recommend improvements to existing processes, create, and maintain the program Configuration Management Plan.Configuration identification of software and documentation, including assigning unique ID numbers and ensuring version control.Implementation and maintenance of a physical CM Library, providing controlled access and reproducing data as needed.Regulating the change process to ensure only approved and validated changes are incorporated into program products.Tracking CDRL due dates, ensuring timely delivery and configuration control of all versions.Organizing and supporting recurring Configuration Control Board, providing agendas and meeting minutes.Coordinating with customers and subcontractors to merge external documentation input into common program-controlled documents.Performing configuration status accounting, generating ad hoc reports as required.Updating and tracking Discrepancy Reports.Performing and supporting audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met.Identifying, packaging, duplicating, and delivering release products to multiple fielded sites and the government.What you must have
6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.Ability to define manageable CM processes (check-out/check-in, build, release, etc.) and implement them.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products to include MS Project, Adobe Acrobat.Knowledgeable in Windows and Linux operating systems, computer hardware, and networking.Proficient in the use of CM tools, including JIRA, GitLab, and other CI/CD tools.Familiarity with media duplicating tools and software.Ability to evaluate the current environment, identify needs and propose a recommended CM solution.Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance.Preferred Requirements
Three years of experience in establishing and maintaining consistent product performance and tracking configuration of all training systems during development and fielding.Familiarity with CI/DI Tools such as PDXpress.Familiarity with CMMI levels 2 and 3 processes and procedures.Experience working in a CMMI/Agile/Department of Defense environment.Certifications (e.g. ITIL, CMII, CM, IAT, NDIA, CMPIC).Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
