The Licensed Clinical Counselor is responsible for diagnosing substance use disorders and mental or emotional disorders, while providing treatment, education, and support to individuals and families as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle and choices. The clinical counselor provides direct support to individuals and families experiencing substance use disorders and/or emotional challenges. This may include utilizing evidenced-based treatment modalities and referrals to other treatment when appropriate.Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited program. Current state licensure and a minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with all levels of personnel, medical staff, administration, and public.About WMC:
