Structural Project Engineer
for our
Wall Township, New Jersey office.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in structural engineering.At FPA, our unwavering commitment to dedicated service and innovative solutions has empowered us to build thriving communities and expand our horizons. Joining our team will provide you with an excellent opportunity to unlock your full potential, gain invaluable experience, and create a meaningful impact on the world.Core Responsibilities:Perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.Develop and prepare detailed construction documents, including drawings and specifications, using Revit and AutoCAD.Conduct site assessments and field investigations to gather data for design and analysis.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive integration of structural components with architectural and MEP designs.Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) during the construction phase.Assist in the preparation of engineering reports, including calculations, design memos, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.).Manage project schedules and budgets, providing updates and communicating with clients and stakeholders.Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical and professional development.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT with a clear path to licensure.Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within a multidisciplinary consulting environment.Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., RAM, STAAD Pro, ETABS) and design tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).Strong knowledge of current building codes and structural design standards.Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.Familiarity with advanced modeling techniques and software.Compensation and Benefits:As a valued member of our team, we provide you with a flexible benefits package that reflects our respect for your workplace contributions, professional goals, and personal priorities.
