Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst translates high-level architectural visions into practical, economically viable solution designs. Responsibilities include understanding the complexities of existing systems and designing solutions that simplify, streamline, and effectively integrate these systems. This new position will work on a team that collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver automation technology.Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements to understand the needs and objectives of the organizationSystems Analysis: Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and automationSolution Design: Develop detailed solution designs that meet or exceed business requirements and align with the overall architectural visionFeasibility Assessment: Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions.Integration Planning: Develop integration plans to ensure seamless interoperability between systemsData Analysis: Analyze data and information flows to identify opportunities for optimization and data quality improvementsDocumentation: Create comprehensive documentation of system designs, including process flows, data models, and technical specificationsCollaboration: Collaborate with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that solution designs are aligned with project goalsContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancementsQualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizenMust obtain a moderate-risk or high-risk Public Trust clearanceBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related roleStrong understanding of systems architecture and design principlesAbility to travel as requiredAbility to analyze complex systems and processesAbility to effectively document and communicate system specificationsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with data modeling and analysis techniquesKnowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD)Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Systems Analyst Professional (CSAP) credential or equivalentExperience with specific system design tools and methodologiesKnowledge of automation technologies (e.g., Intelligent Automation (IA), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning)Location:
