Overview
The Software Engineer will work on a team that collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver automation technology solutions for the financial services industry. The Software Engineer will engage in various projects developing and optimizing the use of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and Intelligent Automation (IA) technologies within the context of a federal contract. These projects help our clients ensure process accuracy, reduce cycle times, and improve staff and customer experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of automation technologies, test-driven development, and user experience development, and a proven history of successfully delivering automation solutions. This position collaborates closely with analysts, testers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution while adhering to strict regulatory requirements and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software automation processes in a Microsoft Windows development environment using test-driven and automated testing methodologies.Extract and validate document data using IDP technologies.Deliver easy-to-navigate user experiences for internal stakeholders and external customers.Integrate processes with core management systems using a broad set of integration methods.Optimize IDP definitions and automation processes for performance and scalability.Troubleshoot and resolve automation process issues.Collaborate with systems architects, systems analysts, database analysts, and other development stakeholders.Ensure process security, accuracy, and auditability.Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen.Must obtain a moderate-risk or high-risk Public Trust clearance.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows development techniques and practices.Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.7+ years of development experience.Ability to travel as required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Experience with agile development and CI/CD methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, containers).Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Tungsten Automation’s (formerly Kofax) TotalAgility platform.Strong technical understanding of IDP technologies.Strong understanding of process automation techniques.Location:
