The Line Monitor visually examines and inspects in-process and packed ware. The Line Monitor performs physical tests and detailed visual and specification inspections including spot checks using the established sampling plan.Compensation and Schedule:$23.39 Hourly RateRotating swing shift schedule - first, second and third shiftsResponsibilities:Visually inspect and record packed ware using established sampling plan and report as necessaryCheck and record annealing, finish coating, and cold end sprayConduct internal pressure test and thermal shockMonitor and react to machine lossesRecord discarded mold numbers and re-check discarded mold numbersReselect held ware, hand packs, hand stacks, etc. as requiredFollow all food safety rules and regulationsMinimum Skills / Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to physically perform all related tasks associated with the positionMust be able to stand for 8 hoursMust be able to lift twenty (20) poundsPreferred Skills / Qualifications:Experience working in a manufacturing environmentAbout Ardagh Group:Ardagh Glass Packaging is a global leader in glass packaging solutions, producing packaging for the world’s leading brands.
