is an opportunity that explores modern IT Architecture best practices, processes, and tool kit to manage the architecture deliverables for the organization. Ideal candidates have enterprise architecture knowledge with agile methodologies and help define architecture vision, best practices roadmaps, modernizing software platforms, and application strategies including M&A integration.Our 12-week internship opportunity offers candidates working toward their Bachelor's in computer science or similar majors exposure to a variety of assignments in information technology.ResponsibilitiesFollow and execute directives issued by senior employees.Research architecture best practices.Establish architecture review processes cadence and meetings.Research architecture documentation and management tools.Prototype architecture management tools.Define architecture documentation standards and product use.Create presentation materials for establishing the architecture practices.Skills and ExperienceWorking toward completion of an undergraduate degree (or reputable trade program) in computer science, engineering, or related technical field preferred.Knowledge of IT architecture frameworks.Excellence in process design, documentation, and PowerPoint presentations.Demonstrated hands-on lab experience in analysis, scripting, and documentation.Ability to speak to software projects completed during education and training.Additional QualificationsProven trustworthiness and history of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively.Solid written and verbal communication skills.Capable of working with diverse teams.Organized and punctual.Confident, but humble and willing to learn and take initiative.Recommendations from previous instructors and internship sponsors.Certification RequirementsNone expected, but certificates obtained during coursework are a plus.Starting pay is $23 - $26 per hour but may be adjusted based on qualifications and experiences.Ingersoll Rand Inc.
