Job Summary
The Senior Data Analyst, People Analytics plays a crucial role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting on HR processes and data. This role involves transforming HR data into actionable insights, analyzing workforce data, developing and maintaining dashboards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to inform strategic initiatives, including employee engagement, turnover prediction, and workforce planning.
Principal Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Reports & Dashboards:
Design and create comprehensive Power BI dashboards, executive presentations, and ad-hoc reports, providing insights on key HR metrics.
HR Data Analysis & Insights:
Conduct in-depth analyses of HR data to identify trends, anomalies, and forecasts.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage with HR, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand their needs and define business requirements.
Predictive Modelling & Forecasting:
Develop and implement predictive models to inform organizational initiatives.
Data Governance & Integrity:
Lead efforts to monitor and improve data quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
Drive the enhancement of HR analytics tools and processes.
Training & Capability Building:
Empower internal stakeholders by enabling self-service reporting tools and providing training on dashboards and reports.
Presentation & Storytelling:
Develop and deliver compelling presentations with relevant data to inform decision-making for HR leadership.
Compliance & Legislative Reporting:
Compile, analyze, and submit HR data to meet legislative requirements.
Partnership for System Upgrades:
Collaborate with the HRIS team on system upgrades.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certificates:
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, HR Analytics, or related fields. A master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.
Technical Skill & Knowledge:
Minimum 6 years of experience in data analysis and reporting in HR or related fields.
Strong technical skills in data analytics, data mining, cleansing, and statistical analysis.
Expertise in Power BI, MS Excel, SQL, and statistical modelling.
Key Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen.
Proven relationship management skills.
Solid understanding of HR processes, metrics, and trends.
