The Computer Systems Analyst, Junior supports the Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) Department, Code 720000D/E contract. The IT/IM Department's mission is to provide IT and Cybersecurity support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). The IT/IM Department is a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)-wide Competency responsible for providing the people, processes, technologies, facilities, skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to support development, planning, execution, monitoring and life cycle support of IT/IM programs and activities within the Weapons Division command.
The IT/IM Department provides non-Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) products and services including corporate IT solutions, tools, and site/customer specific support. The mission of the IT/IM Department is to ensure that the NAWCWD IT infrastructure, tools, applications, etc. are compliant with current and future DoD regulations, are continually operational and functioning to meet the end user’s needs and requirements, and are being modified on a continual basis to account for new and changing technologies and to combat against new and existing IT threats.
Responsibilities:
Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.Analyze or recommend commercially available software.
Clearance Required:
Secret Final/Top Secret eligible
