Must have one of the following security certifications: GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP, CISSPMinimum of a Secret security clearance to start, and will require a Top Secret to be obtained after on-boardingPosition requires SIPR NMCI access as well as access to multiple restricted areas (to include Building 3146 Lab 125 & Building 3112 Lab 3)Eight (8) years of experience in relevant technical field, including Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirementsMust be able to analyze network traffic at the packet levelDesired Skills
Knowledgeable with CND Information Assurance (IA) systemsBasic knowledge of IP networking and protocolsSolid working knowledge of DoD Virtual Hosting requirements, vendor recommended best practices and engineering solutions to tailor to DOD requirementsUnderstanding of how to design, develop, install, implement and troubleshoot custom VMware solutionsSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environmentKnowledge of systems engineering activities and process improvement approaches strongly desiredExperience providing technical support and document VMware processesExtensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESXi and related technologiesProficiency in VMware associated programs and coding languagesExperience with System evaluation, design and architecture of Virtual hosting environmentsDescription
Racks and cables the Platform Boundary Defense (PBD) systemConfigures/tests the Virtual Hosting Environment systems (compute, storage, management, networking)Configures/tests virtual networking capabilitiesCreates Engineering Changes to support the lifecycle including engineering documentationPerforms vulnerability scans of the system and review on a weekly basisCoordinates among stakeholders to identify, document, mitigate, and manage risk attributed to the target system, network, and/or applicationIdentifies, develops, and incorporates common artifacts found in an RMF accreditation packageUses vulnerability scanning and assessment tools (e.g., ACAS/HBSS) to identify and document complianceDesigns, implements and hardens virtualization solutions, including the hypervisor, storage, management and virtual networking componentsWorks primarily in a secured lab space, where the majority of work must be performed to support this taskingClearance Information
