Torch Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer located within Kettering, OH (Dayton/WPAFB area) to support our EPASS GB contract. As part of the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), the Sustainment Planning, Execution, and Report System (SPERS) provides Repair Program Managers with a standard system for maintenance program planning and management functions for major and secondary items such as aircraft, missiles, engines, and other major end items. SPERS plays a critical role in supporting various AF initiatives and statutory requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/POSITION DESCRIPTION:Provide cybersecurity support per DoDI 8500.01, assessing and continuously monitoring cybersecurity risk.Act as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the AO, PM, and ISO.Complete and maintain required cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1303.Ensure all AF IT cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible.Support maintaining current authorization to operate and implementing corrective actions.Continuously monitor the IT and environment for security-relevant events.Assess proposed configuration changes for potential impact to the cybersecurity posture.Ensure cybersecurity-related events or configuration changes are formally reported.Ensure all ISSOs and privileged users receive necessary technical training and obtain cybersecurity certification.Ensure AF IT is acquired, documented, operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly IAW DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 8510.01.Job Requirements:The successful candidate should possess the knowledge, experience, and recognized ability in their technical/professional field. Candidates should have experience in system and communications protection, incident handling, system integrity, security training, and software development activities related to Cybersecurity.EDUCATION:Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with ten years of experience in the respective discipline (five years in DoD) OR Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience (five years in DoD) OR 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications (eight years in DoD).CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:At a minimum, candidates will meet the requirements for and maintain an IAM Level III Cybersecurity certification.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a T3/Secret Clearance.Job Type:
