Job Description
Position Overview Torch Technologies invites applications for a Business Intelligence Internship for Summer 2025. We seek a motivated and organized student interested in gaining practical experience in business intelligence (BI) tasks within a leading technology company. This position provides an opportunity to apply academic learning to real-world situations, gain insight into the business operations of a technology firm, and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes. Learning Opportunities Gain practical experience in operational and administrative tasks. Work alongside experienced professionals. Develop skills in business process analysis and improvement. Opportunity to participate in strategic business planning and execution. Duration and Location This is a summer internship, lasting 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities During your internship, you may... Work with complex datasets to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis Contribute to problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, correlations and actionable insights. Participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and presentations Engage in problem-solving activities and apply critical thinking skills to address engineering challenges Support the integration of hardware and software components into existing systems Attend team meetings and provide input on project status and progress
Job Requirements
Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor'sdegree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences Passionate about data analytics and eager to build expertise in BI toolsand techniques Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Requirements US Citizen At least 18 years old Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited educational institution In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0 Commitment to a full-time schedule during the internship period
